The Nextvisit Chrome extension is a sidebar connected to your workspace. It records encounters, drafts SOAP notes, and lets you drag finished sections into the EHR you already have open. The sidebar stays open as you move between tabs.

Yes. The extension is free. Your Nextvisit account carries the subscription. There is no separate fee for the extension.
If your EHR runs in a browser tab, the extension works next to it. Drag-and-drop uses standard HTML drag events. Context sync exists for Osmind, SimplePractice, and Kalix, and for EHRs that accept FHIR R4 or HL7 v2 push.

Yes. Same workspace auth, same encryption in transit and at rest, and the same BAA. Recordings are ephemeral by default. We do not train AI on PHI. Nextvisit trains AI on other customer data by default, and customers can opt out. Permissions are scoped to the tabs needed for context detection.
The extension, the web app, and the iOS app share one workspace. A session you start here shows up on mobile. A note you sign on desktop appears in the sidebar.
